This October, Elvis Presley classics like "Suspicious Minds" and "A Big Hunk O' Love" will be reimagined with new, lavish orchestrations by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The classical treatment of The Wonder of You follows last year's If I Can Dream.

The Philharmonic's reworking of 'Wonder' was recorded at Abbey Road studios with producers Don Reedman and Nick Patrick. The first single, "A Big Hunk O' Love," can be streamed on the project's website.

Priscilla Presley, executive producer of The Wonder of You and the singer's former wife, suggested that Elvis had long harbored an interest in classical music. "Elvis always loved the great, operatic vocalists," she explained in a statement. "We often talked about his interest in recording material that allowed him to perform in that space."

"As with the first time we stepped into this amazing world — it is the extraordinary intimacy of Elvis's vocal performances that is truly breathtaking," Patrick added. "The exquisite and effortless way he takes us on an emotional journey with him through delicate sensitivity to power and grace all within a magical 3-minute song."

"I believe we have made an album that is uplifting, sensitive, heart touching and fun — the way that Elvis was and still is to so many of us," Reedman continued. "His spirit has never left the building!"

The Wonder of You will be released October 21st.
