Major Lazer Recruit 2 Chainz, Pusha T for Explosive 'Night Riders'

Major Lazer promise to "set the streets on fire" in the cameo-filled "Night Riders," an explosive track from the dancehall-EDM trio's upcoming LP, Peace Is the Mission. Rappers 2 Chainz, Pusha T and Travi$ Scott contribute to the track, while Mad Decent reggae artist Mad Cobra throws in frenetic vocals.

Pusha tosses off strong one-liners in his opening verse, including "Outlaw, outlaw / Like I hit the Powerball." But 2 Chainz, as he tends to do, steals the entire song. "Got a California King in my condo / Got a motherfuckin' big screen by the front door," he rhymes. "Got a guest bedroom filled up with fur coats / Ain't no room in this bitch to even jump rope."

Peace Is the Mission, the group's third album, is out June 1st via Mad Decent and features additional guest appearances from Ellie Goulding, Ariana Grande, Wild Belle and DJ Snake, among others. Major Lazer announced the LP last month and premiered the frenetic cut "Roll the Bass."

It's been a busy week for the trio. On Thursday, Major Lazer debuted their new cartoon series on FXX. The show – co-created and executive produced by the group's own Diplo – chronicles the adventures of a superhero named Major Lazer, a "self-proclaimed 'Guardian of the Groove'" who battles villains in the "futuristic dystopia that is Jamaica."

Last month, Diplo teamed with fellow EDM superstar Skrillex to release their debut album as Jack Ü. And it might not be the former producer's last LP of the year – last month, Diplo told Triple J that another Major Lazer set will be out in November. "The next album we have like 20 songs, but we're going to cut it to nine," he said. "That's kind of as much music that a person can handle right now. There's so much music coming out that I don't want any of these songs to get lost, I want them all to have their own life."
