Watch Blake Shelton's Homecoming in 'Bringing Back the Sunshine' Video

"Country is sunshine," Blake Shelton declares. And in his new video for "Bringing Back the Sunshine," the weather is picture perfect in the small country town of Ada, Oklahoma, where the singing superstar was raised. He takes fans on a tour of his hometown in the clip, giving a front seat view from his old Chevy truck. (Watch above.)

"Bringing Back the Sunshine" is the title track of Shelton's brand-new album released this week. "I love the message of the song. It's about a couple that's gone through something, probably separated, and just decided to get back together. What's most important is their love," Shelton explains. "There's something magical about that title, and given what this album is all about, I thought Bringing Back the Sunshine is like I’m bringing back some country music, some of these sounds we don’t hear that much anymore in country, at least in the mainstream."

He's also bringing back the booze. When Rolling Stone Country caught up with the country star this summer, he explained that his 11th studio album would reflect some of his earliest work.

"My last couple of albums have been so positive, because when I made them I was just getting married," he told us. "But after a while, as a country singer, I gotta get back to singing about getting drunk because there's people out there — and I've been one of them — that have had their heart broken, or they've had a tough day at work, or they get stabbed in the back."

Shelton has made videos for every track on Bringing Back the Sunshine, though he doesn't star in any of the clips (likely due to his hectic schedule taping The Voice.) Watch them all here.
