Garth Brooks Unveils New Album 'Man Against Machine'
Category: Various Date: October 5, 2014, 10:54 pm Feed: Rolling Stone

Garth Brooks' long-awaited new album on Pearl/RCA Nashville — his first collection of new music in 13 years — will be titled Man Against Machine. The LP, featuring a somewhat menacing cover image of the music icon in dark sunglasses and a tight-fitting t-shirt, will include his current hit single, "People Loving People."

"Music has always been a reflection of where mankind is at the time," Brooks said in a statement. "For 14 years, I have watched heart and soul, dreams and individualism, fighting for their very existence in a world of increasing technology. This album is a reminder to all those who dream, work, and fight for what they believe; do not give up your vision."

Man Against Machine is currently available for pre-order on the singer's new digital music outlet, GhostTunes. Fans can also purchase a mega-bundle that includes digitally-updated versions of all eight of the entertainer's iconic studio albums, a new 25th Anniversary Edition of his double live set (featuring 30 songs with 30 videos) and an instant download of the new single, "People Loving People" and the bonus track, "Send 'Em on Down the Road."

In other Garth news, tickets for his ten upcoming shows in Minneapolis (November 6th – 15th) went on sale Friday (October 3rd), with more than 153,000 tickets sold in just a few hours. The country superstar is currently on a world comeback tour with wife Trisha Yearwood, announcing one city on the trek at a time. Yearwood is also releasing a new album, Prizefighter: Hit After Hit, on November 17th.
