Let’s get one thing clear, the underground extreme music industry is just as trendy as the mainstream music scene. Fake music is everywhere. How many copycat bands emerge once one band of a particular style gets enough media attention?

Anyways, today’s Song of the Day is “Pull My Strings” from the legendary DEAD KENNEDYS. This recording is from the Bay Area Music Awards in 1980 where the band was to play in front of a bunch of mainstream music moguls. The song was their message to them. It just goes to show what the band stood for.  This is the first and only time they performed the song. Cheers.
