Artist Information

DeShawn Bolton (Born June 13, 1990 in Seattle, Washington), better known as YungStarr, is a rapper and producer. He started rapping locally at the age of 12. In 2006, his song "Bring It Back" became popular around his city and somewhat gained him a loyal fanbase in Seattle. His mixtape "A Million And One Questions" was released early 2007. It was made available for digital download on datpiff.com first. Being 16 when his CD was released, YungStarr knew that he was ready for the indusrtry.

Happy Birthday YungStarr!
YungStarr will be celebrating his 17th birthday on June 13th this year. He had plans of releasing his second mixtape "A Trip Down South Part I" on June 12, 2007 but it was pushed back due to issues at his label.
