Raised in Oakland Yung Frost(YF)aka Dizzy has lived a life of poverty..and when his father abandoned the family everything turned 4 the worst..he started roamin the streets with his crew where he started networking and was named frosty because he was from north oakland aka North Pole and he had a cold ice heart when it come to money... which few people new...he started headin towards the wrong path untill he began havin an interest in poetry which started as an assignment from his english teacher..which quicky grew and was noticed by his peers, teachers and mother (u could find some of poems in poetry.com) but poetry would never satisfy or put money in his pockets..he stopped and headed back to the Streets 38th to 45th his turf...one year later in the eight grade while takin a music class he became interested in music..he fell in love with hiphop...he went back to poetry and started reading,collectin knowledge about the rap game...to make songs that people could reflect to was his goal...he continued poetry untill he graduated from junior high..he then transformed his stanzas to verse with flow and the same rhythum and an Mc was born..since then his been rappin and his bars on the mic keep increasin in every verse...He expanded and started to produce tracks...
Yung Frost has a logo/signature which u hear in his tracks, collaboration,or any of his beats;*SBS*which means(Space Boy Swagger)but mostly u will hear *SB* to him its more than a signature its his moto..always been told that the sky is the limit but to him his future surpasses the sky..he has no limit of what he can do beign motivated to be a doctor and a rapper he has made choices that conflicts both of his passion.He says "I will be sucessful in whatever fate deals me I will work hard and never forget where am from "
Yung Frost grew up listening to legendary Hip Hop artists, like Rakim, KRS-1, Heavy D and Run DMC. Renowned R & B artists, such as Al Green, Michael Jackson, The O'Jays and Marvin Gaye have also played a part in influencing his life and his style. He also grew up listenin to kikuyu music, African music. He also listen to artists like 2Pac, Lil Wayne, Pharrell, Andre 3000 juelz young jeezy of some of their other musical influences. With a keen interest and knowledge of music, Yung Frost would like more than anything to make his own mark in the Hip Hop
Being a teenager in the music industry can be extremely stressful, attending college to be a doctor, work, spend time with his beloved families and friends and still find time to record and perform...Outside of recording hit records, Yung Frost future projects include: creating an Empire, First Round Entertainment." Also, producin tracks with various artist and collabs.
