From a young age, I've always wrote poems or recited spoken word to myself or others. In middle-school, I taught myself to match my spoken lyrics to hiphop and even rock beats. Growing up, i was exposed to various types of music. My mother was an aspiring R&B artist with a unique style of R&B mixed with jazz and a touch of soul. My stepfather was into rock, mostly AC/DC, Aerosmith and Guns & Roses, and my biological father was in various underground rap groups. Over the years all of these different musical elements have blended together to manifest the unique style of music I create.
