Jason Grace is a Texas electronic music artist and films core composer based in the North Austin area. As creator of Swiftlab Sound, Jason also offers sound fx design and audio editing for indie films of all shapes and sizes. With a certificate in sound engineering, recording, and music production from the nationally acclaimed Recording Workshop in Chillicothe, OH., Jason has been providing his services as a free-lance audio engineer for both live music performances, dance, theatre, and in-studio recording for the past 4 years.
Jason developed an appetite for composing and producing Electronic music in the fall of '00 in his home town, Charlottesville, Va. He took up the alias Pluggsocketswift, in regards to his new electronic music endeavor. In the summer of 2001 Jason caught wind of Austin's thriving live music and indie film scene, and shortly after graduating from recording school, he picked up and moved. That following summer Jason landed his first real job as Score Composer for Whoopass Entertainment's Feature Film, Xtracurricular, now available on DVD. Since then Jason has continued to offer his services to Texas indie directors and media production companies, and continues to produce cinematic electronic music.
