Could Bobby Cook be the next great songwriting talent out of the UK or is he simply a lad with a few good tunes. The cinematic pop masterpieces of "Secrets" and "Deja Vu" indicate that the man may have much more up his sleeves, while "Higherground" shows that he is not a one trick pony by infusing his well-developed songs with a bit of soul.
