Kitten on the Keys AKA San Francisco's Suzanne Ramsey
is the Ginzu knife of the stage-she slices, dices and
Julianne's! When not tickling the ivories, stroking the uke, or squeezing her
accordion, this multi tasking vaudeville vamp is a musical Femme c whose comedic musical Burlesque bump and grind acts will tickle your funnybone and stir your nethers.
With four self produced CD's under her belt, this one ma'am band puts Sin in her syncopation for a monkey spankin' good time!!
She won the SF Weekly Music Award in the Beyond/Unclassifiable
category for her unusual one woman stage antics in 2003.
Known as the musical snackcake with the moist creamy center, Kitten will tantalize your tastebuds with her spunky mischievous humor and pull on your heartstrings with her beautiful renditions of Tin Pan Alley Classics and her own punky cabaret originals.
She's toured the US and Canada with Burlesquefest, MC'd the World Famous Exotic World Burlesque Pageant and Reunion Las Vegas, Teaseorama's
International Shin-dig in San Francisco and Hollywood,
won a Golden Pastie Award at the NY Burlesque Festival for being "the biggest Tease", won Best Costume at Exotic World 2005, played Liberace's mirrored grand piano in Las Vegas (this was wonderful as her 3 fave female role models are Freddie Mercury, Liberace, and Alice Cooper)
been featured in numerous international publications, including a 12 page article in SHIMMY magazine, the New York Times, the Village Voice, Star and Garter, Belgian ELLE,
Cool and Strange Music, Keyboard Magazine, CURVE, Style Monte Carlo to name a few.
She has appeared on Q TV's the Queer Edge , Bravos's Top Chef, MTVs "My Super Sweet 16", HBO's Reel Sex, CANAL + in Paris performing and teaching gals the art of Burlesque costumes on the cheap,
and dazzled audiences in Europe with the show Cabaret New Burlesque.
Kitten has a vintage exuberance that is hard to resist.
Her eyebrow raising antics had them rolling in the aisles last summer in PARIS!
The French appropriately called her "The Punk Rock Betty Boop'.
She is heavily featured in the French Coffee table book "Legend's du Striptease" by Remy Fuentes available at French Amazon.com.
Her cute, kinky and clever
original cabaret tunes revive the mirth and merriment of the good ol days with a
deliriously decadent twist. She has a one woman musical in the works titled"
