EastGate X-Change RecordsTM. was developed in 2001 by an artist formely known as "Wicked Guerro". Starting with just a casio keyboard and a kereoke he started producing potentially good material. He connected with another local Dallas artist known as "Froze" and spent many days and nights freestyling and writing. Rapidly creating new material they decided to upgrade their equipment for better quality. In the same year he also connected with a local Dallas DJ known as "Dulcet" who taught him how to operate the software and equipment used to produce,record and compose. They then decided to start a record lacel but did not know what to call it. They spent many of days thinking of what to name it and finally agreed to it's name, "EastGate X-Change Records". You may be asking "why that name"? EastGate Dr. was the halfway point between Wicked Guerro's and Dulcet's spot and that is where they exchanged most of their materials. In mid 2007 Wicked Guerro formed a group in Southern New Mexico with artist's Sawdawf from Houston,Tx. and Ese Listo from Albuquerque. They spent alot of time in the studio 24/7 working and on June,23rd 2008 They released their Debut Album "Trials And Tribulations". Shortly after releasing an album for an artist formely known as "Evil Rush" called "Gangsta Ghetto Life" You can also find many of other exclusive materials out there in the streets or online. Now EastGate X-Change Records is rapidly growing through the South and Southwest region and still picking up artist that have that skill and need a way into the game.
