Hard working, talented, smart and beautiful as well. Charmaine Stephens was born on May 21, 1987 in Sun Valley, California. Most people search their entire lives looking for their purpose. Charmaine knew at the tender age of 5. She began writing songs at 10 years old being inspired by the fact of growing up without her mother. Coming from a musical family, Charmaine already had the natural ambition and talent; her uncle is an esteemed drummer that played for various artists on Motown Records such as The Supremes & The Temptations. And her grandparents were songwriters/singers as well. During her grade school years, she was involved in many different musical groups and participated in talent shows both national and regional taking a place in every one. One group entitled, “Music Express” was a singing & dancing act that toured all over California led by Marc Macisso which had the opportunity of singing with legendary Jazz Saxophone Artist Dave Koz. Later on in May 2005 Charmaine received an opportunity of a lifetime getting the honor to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. In October 2005 she got into acting by playing the role of Chiffon in the Frank Oz remake, “Little Shop Of Horrors” which went on to compete in the Destasc Acting Competition and made it to the finals. In 2006 Charmaine got accepted to attend the world famous legendary Musicians Institute located in the heart of Hollywood, California. She has also worked with Grammy nominated producer Richie Zito whose previous work include Janet Jackson & Cher.. Charmaine has also worked with well known musicians such as Blaire Shotts who has worked with has worked with Tone Loc, El Hefe of NOFX, Hollywood Records recording artist Jesse McCartney, and The Zodiac Show with Macy Gray. And also "Paul Blake" Weinstein whose most recent credits include on Justin Timberlake's Latest installment "Future, Sex, Love, Sounds". & many collaborative sessions with Multi-Platinum Record Producer Timbaland. Charmaine also has Alicia Morgan a multi talented vocalist/songwriter/keyboardist whose previous work includes performing on the t.v. hit sitcom "Roseanne" and the "Today Show" contribute her artistry on "Love & Lost". With diverse range" Currently Charmaine is recording her 1st independent album entitled, "Love & Lost". The "Love & Lost" album will be released in early 2008.
