True to his Gemini zodiac sign B-Easy, born Bendrick Murray, came into the world prematurely June 12, 1986, the eldest of twin boys, surviving the medical odds against him. B. Easy, a Georgia native, got his first taste of hip-hop at the age of 5. Early on he and his twin brother Jewl would perform on stage with their uncle K-dog, a battle rapper and local celebrity. It was very evident to family and friends, that Bendrick had in fact caught the hip-hop bug, when he would abandon his normal laid back character and break into tears when the music stopped and it was time to depart the stage. With the blood of hip-hop running through his veins Bendrick at age 13, took to writing, recording his own music and performing locally along with his twin. What started out as a hobby quickly turned serious when they were signed to Jelexon Records in 2000. They became Macon superstars overnight, their first song “We Gonna Ball” was played and well received on Georgia’s Love 103.7 and Hot 107.1. The brother’s found themselves signing autographs and being invited to do radio station interviews. The fame was short lived though, due to shiesty record company management. It was following the record company debacle that B. Easy put down the Mic and focused on writing thru this turn of events he along with kindred spirits started BlackOutt Entertainment. After a brief stint in college, he left the confines of the “Dirty” south and relocated to the United Kingdom. It is there that B. Easy got his second wind and cultivated his unique sound. Driven by the birth of his child, Easy found his way back in the studio under the wing of Upper Echelon Productions/Illa Team. B. Easy has graced the stage at several venues across the United Kingdom Innocence Nightclub and Sonic to name a few. He was also apart of the British acclaimed live party showcase, The JumpOff. So, why is this hip-hop meets rock star gearing up to be the next big name in music? It is his fresh, crisp sound captured in his first hit Single “Do That” from his debut EP titled “Easy Money” Or maybe it’s his lyrical charisma that exudes confidence in “Feelin’ Myself” another sure-fire hit from the same EP. Whatever it is, the world had better brace itself for a new level of hip-hop… We now present to you….. B. EASY
