Apostel was formed in November 2005 by Adriano and Florian, two musicians from Paraguay who had the good fortune of being brothers. It all started in the basement of their parents house who weren’t particularly supportive of the project. After a lot of jamming around they decided to take it serious and came up with the band name Apostel and started to actually write songs. In the summer of 2006 Apostel recorded a 6 song demo at kens home studio with two stand in musicians, Chris as vocalist and Piuz on bass guitar. After the demo was done Apostel performed at a metal social with the two stand in musicians (Chris, Piuz) to promote their music. The two brothers spent a lot of time auditioning musicians trying to find the right bass player and second guitarist, but still not slowing down with composing new songs just simply because Adriano and Florian were two outstanding musicians who had a dream to one day share a stage with musicians they have been inspired by and express themselves through their heavy and brutal songs. In June 2007 after the brothers had realized that they had advanced in their writing skills, Apostel decided to go for the real deal and record a full length CD at Bedside Recording Studio in Winnipeg. Since the two brothers weren’t entirely happy how the songs on the demo turned out they decided to take 4 songs of the demo, perfected them and added 7 new songs. Half way through the recording the very first two Ibanez G8 arrived in Winnipeg. Florian always ready for bigger challenge with no hesitations bought the monster 8 string and recorded half the songs with the new axe he purchased. With the low brutal mind twisting sound of the Ibanez G8(8strings) and the unique drumming of Adriano, Apostel was satisfied and happy about the new recording. On the CD Florian recorded all the guitars, bass guitar and the mid and high ranged vocals. Adriano did his part by recording the drums and the very low back up vocals. At the very moment the CD is at the final mixing stages and expected to be finished and ready for purchase in February of 2008. As soon as the CD is finished look out because extreme metal is coming your way on CD and life. Apostel thanks Len (Bedside studio) for his hard work and every single individual who has been there to help in any way and of coarse all the fans. Horns up high!!
