In the summer of 2006, Peter Maffei (guitar/ backup vox) and Zach Fritz (Drums) started playing together. they came up with a song with the help of Zachs Drum teacher Ryan luccero(sorry if spelling is wrong). after that, things took off. Later that summer, Kevin Seidler(Bass) started playing bass. Kevin had been a long time friend of Zachs and a good friend of Peters. he was just beginning, but he had potential, and his dad had been playing bass for 25 years or so. When kevin told them that he got a bass, they asked him to join. he gladly accepted. So Peter, Kevin and Zach started writing songs. they came up with 2 others in the next few months. Radio controll was taking off. There was just one problem. they did not have a vocalist.
There was nobody to fill the job of singing and delivering "the good word of radio controll".
Not too long after, Cory Miller (vox) got kicked out of another band, Fatal Frequencies(Now Cultural Confusion). All of the current members of Radio Controll had been in that band at one time or another. So seeing that Cory was avalible for the job, and knowing that he did a good job in Fatal Frequencies, Peter and Zach quickly asked him to join at there singer. he accepted, and he was in. Thus him joining, formed what Radio controll was. a few months later, zach and peter and kevin realised he was a dick and he sucked at singing. They booted his ass in about 5 seconds.

Peter- my influences on my music are very broad. some of my guitar parts are inspired by Angus Youngs style, and also Metallica and Blink 182. Also alot of Local bands influence my music and style. Some of the bands/artists that also influence me are Alkaline Trio, Audioslave, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Bloodhound Gang, Bob Marley, Dick Dale, Foo Fighters, George Harrison, Green Days old Stuff, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Eat World, KillRadio, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, NOFX, The Offspring, 5606, The Transit War, Rebel Fly, Urban Achievers, The Capstan Millita, Ozzy Osbourne, Rage Against The Machine, The Ramones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Rolling Stones, Sublime, Van Halen, My Guitar Teacher Keith and probably alot more...
