Deonte' Marquis Jackson, also known as Luh Dizzy, was born June 30, 1997 in Hampton Virginia. Music has always been Dizzy's passion. His mother, Shilonda Harris, says that at the age of three, he would tell people that he wanted to become a rapper. Dizzy states that he had no clue why he wanted to be a rapper at age three. Throughout the years, he continued to change his mind about what career path he should take. Many people suggested lawyer, judge, or doctor. Dizzy says that he would just go along with whatever seemed like it made the most money. He didn't look for passion in a job, just money. Overtime, Dizzy discovered that he liked to write poetry. He says that he would write poetry all of the time. "For a while, that's all it was; just poetry. Then, one day while listening to my cousin freestyle to instrumental beats on youtube, I had the epiphany of my life. I realized that music wasn't too much more than poetry. After that day, I would go to youtube, pick an instrumental, and write to the beat. I've been hooked on writing music ever since." Though Dizzy is "just a kid", he has major plans. These include having a reality television show, getting signed to a major label, releasing a clothing line, and becoming an actor. Confidently, he states that he plans to get his record deal by the ninth grade, if not before. To all other aspiring artists out there, watch out. Dizzy is no joke at all.
