Artist Information | | |
One night on 1994, May 5th Jae R was born in a Boston hospital. He then returned to his hometown New Bedford, Massachusetts or the Secret City. His career was started at an annual rap event in his city when he was around 7 or 8. That night he spit his first 16 bars ever on an open mic acapella event. That night his life had changed. One day when Jae's father brought him home a headset microphone he started recording. At first he lacked skill and needed help. Browsing a battle site and found a rapper by the name of Flatline. They both decided to collab. Flatline liked the young emcee's style and told his label about him. At that time Jae R still needed improvement. As time passed he took a mental break for about 3 months. Then came back with 3 songs in 4 days. Flatline listened to one and showed the CEO of his label the track. They were impressed and that night Jae talked with Conflix the CEO of Block Burna Records. He told him they would feature there songs on the label's album. But he still had to talk to the other CEO Unik-Stylez about it. About 4 days later Jae got the call from Flatline that he was officially signed by Block Burna Records. And til this day Block Burna Records are the diamond in the ruff of the underground. There goal is to bring back real Hip-Hop. And You?...
