As a teenager, Claudia traveled up and down the California coast performing at talent shows and showcases, always paying homage to her biggest influences, Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans. Even at that young age, her warm tone, vocal maturity and charisma forecasted a bright future in R&B and neo-soul music.

Never forgetting her Mexican heritage and her family’s love for the traditional, the regional Ranchera songs of her culture always remained a part of Claudia’s repertoire and helped her in developing the trademark vocal range and emotional delivery of her music.
