Singer/Rapper/Screaming Matt Ortega formerly the old singer from the old local Moorpark band:"iNTREPiD". Is now also known as CONDEWIT the solo artist. Matt Ortega grew up in the little suburb of Moorpark, CA. And in highschool made lots of friends with serious musicians and was in and out of many different bands being the frontman singer. It was only til one day a buddy of Matt's introduced him to Ryan who heard Matt sing to an Incubus song and wanted to jam immediately. When they started jamming in their friends garage Ryan met a new student from Santa Barbara also attending Moorpark Highschool named Sean who played Bass for several years in jazz festivals and concerts since well before highschool. When Matt, Sean, and Ryan started taking the music they made more seriously. Ryan asked a good friend of his by the name of Eric to jam with them, he was more than happy to. The group gave themselves the name iNTREPiD and got recorded at the "Club House" out in Santa Barbara and posted their songs on MP3.com. It was only then that Sean and Ryan started getting calls from places like "The Roxy", and "The Whisky A-go-go". And for the next three years, the band iNTREPiD played serious showcases and played with a lot of serious bands like: Avenged Sevenfold and Death By Stereo @"The Majestic Ventura Theatre", Hed P.E. @"The Whisky-A-go-go", and headlined more than several shows at "The Roxy" with the local band Shuvel. When the group broke up for different personal interests, Matt went on composing music and lyrics while attending Moorpark College. And is now working as a guitar instructor at World Music in Simi Valley after getting crudentials to show for. Condewit it Matt's Rock/Progressive/Hardcore/Experimental expression through optimism, hope, and philosophies for the everyday working employee with innovative lyrics and positive vibes with an energetic grab of distortion from duel guitars. As well as powerful relating ballads, one song was inspired by a short story of an old man who had an out of body experience.
