Andrew Small is 19 years old and is a California native born and raised in Thousand Oaks. At an early age he started taking piano lessons and eventually took on the drums, after discovering that the drums took a totally different and often more complex set of talents he dropped music all together. When he was 12 he bought his first guitar for $28 in little mexico in down town LA, and has taught himself ever since. Currently he is the youth worship leader for Identity Youth Ministries of Conejo Valley Community Church, and is working on a full length Praise and Worship/ gospel/inspirational album. Also Andrew is attending Eternity Bible College in Simi Valley, CA and is working towards his BA in Biblical Studies, and although he is deeply faithful to the Jesus Christ, and was "raised" in the church there was a long period of darkness for this young and rising musician. When he was young probably 11 or so in the sixth grade, he began drinking lightly, as he grew older his pattern of poor choices continued; with sexual promiscuity and at the age of 14 he began using drugs, and before he was 15 he was heavily using drugs. Through out the next couple of years he did a lot of stealing, lieing, cheating, drinking, smoking, eating(certain drugs)...all sorts of deplorable acts of inhumanity not only against himself but unto so many others. At 17 he began getting roped into Identity Sr High program, where he eventually accepted Christ, and was baptized on April 1st 2005, though it was not an april fools joke. Since then he has worked hard and struggled to overcome addiction, and turn to the lord, the concept of turning is common in his music as it is near to his heart.
